Are donations to Rock the plank tax deductible?
Yes, they are per current IRS regulations. Please contact your tax adviser for further questions.
Will we be able to meet the artists?
It will be to the musicians discretion if they will be available to sign autographs. Go to their merchandise tent after their performance and check in with the volunteers if they are available.
Are coolers and/or alcohol allowed at the event?
Due to insurance rules and church and school policy, coolers and/or alcohol are not allowed on the campus. We hope this will not be a problem for you since we will have several affordable food and non-alcoholic beverage options.
Handicap parking will be available in the south parking lot of St. Peter. It will be clearly marked the day of the event.
Are cameras allowed at Rock The Plank?
Only small, snapshot type cameras are allowed on the grounds. Any commercial cameras or cameras with interchangeable lenses will not be allowed on the festival grounds. Legitimate media representatives or commercial photographers must contact Darlene Piette (email@example.com) and obtain credentials BEFORE the event.
Will seats or chairs be provided? Do we need to bring our own blanket or chairs?
There are no chairs or seats provided, however, you are free to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during the events. Tarps, tents, umbrellas or anything that will cause visual obstruction to the stage are not allowed.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed on the campus the day of the event.
Do I need to register?
Yes, registration is needed to inform us that you are coming.
How are the donations allocated?
The net proceeds of the event will be split 50/50 to the two foundations
How early can I get there?
The gates will open at 1 p.m.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Both St. Peter Lutheran Church and School and Lutheran High School North are smoke free campuses.
